The Samurai Usagi Yojimbo Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Action Figure Review

Today we have a review of The Samurai Usagi Yojimbo from the Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure line. Usagi Yojimbo comes from his own comic book series of the same name by Stan Sakai which was first published in 1984, the same year as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Since their original crossover in the comic books, Usagi has appeared in many episodes of TMNT cartoons and comic books.

When I was a kid I always liked Usagi and similar to Baxter Stockman I always wanted his action figure but never had my own. I have been on the hunt for him and I finally found him in the wild.

As I've complained about in my other reviews from the TMNT line is the fact that he only comes with his swords as accessories which is a bit lame, beyond that I have no complaints about Usagi. I love the way he looks, especially the look on his face is great.

I was also very happy when I popped him out of his plastic prison his arms and legs were very still, unlike my Baxter Stockman figure. Usagi comes with 13 points of articulation so he can be posed pretty well.

As far as the other figures in the toy line he's right in the middle of the turtle's height wise. I have to say that I am very happy to have found Usagi for my collection and really have no complaints about him. He looks great, limbs are still, and can be posed all different ways. If you are collecting for this line of figures I highly recommend getting your self your own. I rate Usagi Yojimbo a 9 out of 10.
