I thought that Mattel would release a movie He-Man and Skeletor and be done but today I bring you their newest 1987 movie release, Evil-Lyn.
After an extended break, I bring you my review of Movie Skeletor as part of Mattel's Masters Of The Universe Masterverse toy line. This figure, along with He-Man, are the first two releases in the Masterverse toy line based upon the 1987 motion picture Masters Of The Universe.
In the mail today was a box full of He-Man goodness! I preordered both Masterverse Movie figures and for whatever reason, they were shipped separately so today I bring you my review of He-Man. Besides the review itself, I will also be comparing this release to Super7's Movie He-Man release from a few years ago. Is the Masterverse version better than Super7?
During the prime of He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe in the 1980s, I was very young without my own money so I could only get things if my parents would buy them for me. At the time my parents didn't have a ton of money and if I was allowed to pick something out at the store I would go for a new action figure every time compared to a magazine, that is until I grew up a bit and started to read more. Because of this I never had any of the MOTU magazines from the 80s but I know for a fact if I'd seen this issue at the stores I would have begged for it since it had the movie He-Man on the cover.
