After an extended break, I bring you my review of Movie Skeletor as part of Mattel's Masters Of The Universe Masterverse toy line. This figure, along with He-Man, are the first two releases in the Masterverse toy line based upon the 1987 motion picture Masters Of The Universe.

Masters Of The Universe Masterverse Movie He-Man by Mattel Review

In the mail today was a box full of He-Man goodness! I preordered both Masterverse Movie figures and for whatever reason, they were shipped separately so today I bring you my review of He-Man. Besides the review itself, I will also be comparing this release to Super7's Movie He-Man release from a few years ago. Is the Masterverse version better than Super7?

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Magazine - Summer 1987 Review

During the prime of  He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe in the 1980s, I was very young without my own money so I could only get things if my parents would buy them for me. At the time my parents didn't have a ton of money and if I was allowed to pick something out at the store I would go for a new action figure every time compared to a magazine, that is until I grew up a bit and started to read more. Because of this I never had any of the MOTU magazines from the 80s but I know for a fact if I'd seen this issue at the stores I would have begged for it since it had the movie He-Man on the cover.

Propstore Live Auction August 26-27 2020 - Masters Of The Universe Memorabilia Results

Today I have the results of the Propstores Live Auction from August 26-27 2020, particularly the Masters Of The Universe memorabilia results.

I wasn't sure how the pandemic would affect the prices and from what I can see it had no change as every MOTU piece sold for higher than the estimate except two that sold for the minimum and one selling for three thousand dollars above.

Propstore Live Auction August 26-27 2020 - Masters Of The Universe Memorabilia

In a few days, Propstore will be having a live movie memorabilia auction on August 26th and 27th 2020. There are some truly wonderful objects available and if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic I would be interested in a few things, one in particular. Even though there is a fair share of props from Masters Of The Universe, there are props from nearly every popular movie from the last 50 years, something for everyone.

Masters Of The Universe: The Motion Picture Mexican Lobby Card

About ten years ago I found this lobby card on eBay and bought it, I can't remember exactly but I paid less than 10 dollars shipped for it so all in all pretty inexpensive. When I bought this it was listed as a Mexican lobby card but other than being in Spanish I cannot confirm nor deny that this is from Mexico. This lobby card measures 17 3/4 inches by 11 5/8 inches (45 cm by 29.5 cm) and is made out of thin paper more similar to printer paper than either a movie poster or a lobby card made out of photographic paper.

Here is an example of a Spanish Lobby Card.

Masters Of The Universe: The Motion Picture Pin-Back Button

Today from my archives I bring you another piece of memorabilia from Masters Of The Universe: The Motion Picture, a pin-back button. I understand that this movie isn't very popular with the general public but it has a cult following and if there is anyone out there that is interested in this then this is for you.

Masters Of The Universe: The Motion Picture Atnena He-Man Post Card

Today I bring you a postcard that was released for the Masters Of The Universe motion picture. I'm going to be listing the items I've collected over the years from the MOTU movie and I thought I'd start with an easy one today.

Masters Of The Universe Classics Rebel Leader He-Man by Super7 Action Figure Review

In the year of 1987, I was a young five and my dad brought my brother and me to the movies to see Masters Of The Universe: The Motion Picture. While I can understand why many MOTU fans were disappointed by the movie I was not one of them. I loved everything about it, especially He-Man and Skeletor. Eventually, my Mom bought me Blade and Gwildor action figures that came from the movie but the two figures I always wanted were a movie He-Man and Skeletor, it took me 33 years but I finally have my ultimate most wanted toys as a kid, but is He-Man everything I wanted?

Masters Of The Universe Classics Dark Despot Skeletor by Super7 Action Figure Review

I was very happy last year when Super7 announced that they would be releasing new MOTU Classics action figures based upon the 1987 Masters Of The Universe Motion Picture. While I'm grateful for the changes to Commander Karg, I was really looking forward to He-Man and Skeletor. Keep reading to see if Dark Despot Skeletor would have blown my 5-year-old mind.

Masters Of The Universe Classics Commander Karg by Super7 Action Figure Review

After nearly a year of waiting, I finally received my "William Stout" Masters Of The Universe Classics Movie figures. I put the William Stout in quotes because when they were originally revealed they were called the William Stout Collection but these figures only say "Classics Collection" on the sides of the packaging.

I'm starting with Karg because he's technically the only repaint figure, God Skeletor is a repaint but he is still new and not a previously released figure like Karg. Like I always say, how does this movie variant of Karg compare to the original release?

Masters Of The Universe Classics Blade Review

When the Masters Of The Universe Classics line launched in 2008 one of the big things I wanted was new figures from the Masters Of The Universe The Motion Picture, and as I type this any day that dream will finally come true. I was also looking for Mattel to release new MOTUC versions of the movie characters that were released in 1987. I've already reviewed Gwildor and Saurod, as well as Karg who is the first new movie toy, but I've left Blade for last.

Masters Of The Universe Classics Karg (Comic Book Variant) Action Figure Review

Today we have a very special figure from the Masters Of The Universe Classics action figure line from Super7. Karg is the first action figure from the 1987 Masters Of The Universe film that wasn't a figure from the vintage line and from what we just found out from the 2019 New York Toy Fair he won't be the last.

Masters Of The Universe Classics Movie Action Figures Reveal by Super7

While I haven't talked about it a lot my favorite movie of all time is the 1987 Live Action Masters Of The Universe movie as anyone who knows me knows. While it wasn't quite what people wanted when it came out, no Battlecat or Orko among other things, I loved it and still do.

Anyway, over the years MattyCollector and now Super7 have released some figures from that -------------------movie. Originally they put out a Blade, Saurod, and Gwildor which were expected since they were released in the original toy line. Finally, at the end of last year, Super7 released Karg, the first action figure released from the movie that never had a figure.

Saurod From Masters Of The Universe Classics Action Figure Review

Saurod is a bad guy from the Masters Of The Universe motion picture from 1987. In the movie, he is one of Skeletor's henchmen who after botching a mission to capture He-Man and the Key is killed by Skeletor. Saurod, along with Blade and Gwildor, were new characters developed just for the movie and had their own figures in the original Masters Of The Universe toy line.
