Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic Review
Star Wars : Knights Of The Old Republic is a role-playing game released in 2004 by Bioware for the Original Xbox and was later released on the Windows PC, Mac OS and mobile devices. I had a PlayStation 1 and 2 but this was the game that made me buy an Xbox and I haven't looked back.

Fatal Labyrinth For The Sega Genesis Review
Fatal Labyrinth is a roguelike RPG by Sega that was released for the Genesis in 1991. It is a dungeon crawl game that doesn't have a lot of depth but can be fun if you give it a chance.

Dungeon Siege 3 Video Game Review
Dungeon Siege 3 is the third (obviously) game by Obsidian and published by Square Enix. It was released in 2011 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC. Dungeon Siege 3 takes place in the fictional Kingdom of Ehb, the Kingdom from the first Dungeon Siege, which is a typical fantasy setting except for the fact that basic firearms exist.

Mythic Game Master Emulator Review
Mythic Game Master Emulator (GME) began life as a part of the Mythic RPG. It was created as a way for either solo play or as a way for a GM to run a game without a planned adventure. After it became popular Mythic GME was released as a separate system that could be used with any RPG.

Let's Play Thornguard For Tunnels And Trolls Chapter 2
Last time our level 3 human warrior Thordam did some adventuring in the city of Thornguard in my Tunnels and Trolls campaign. I'm currently using the free rule set and if I like it enough I'll be buying the new Deluxe rules that are coming out. Today he will be going treasure hunting into Fyre Castle.
Thordam has decided to pick up a few supplies before going to Fyre Castle and because he fell asleep before talking to Hector he goes to find him first. He sees that the merchant already has his stand setup. he gives Thordam a smile as he approaches.

Let's Play Thornguard For Tunnels And Trolls Chapter 1
After my review of the solo adventure Thornguard for Tunnels and Trolls I decided to dig up my character and give it a try. I will be using the free rules that you can download from Drive Thru RPG. I've enjoyed playing with the free rules and I'll probably buy the new deluxe rulebook once it comes out.
My level 3 human warrior Thordam wakes up in his room at the Cow and Butcher Inn. Thordam gets dressed and makes his way to the common area to see an elf women cooking breakfast. He gets a plate of food and sits down with the merchants to eat and have a chat. One of the merchants, Hector, says that he's from the Kingdom of Spirewood in Thornguard to sell his wares. He tells Thordam how on the way here he fell off his horse during his journey to Thornguard and broke his left arm. The merchant asks Thordam if he would be will to help setup his tents and in return he would give him 10% of his earnings for the day.

Let's Play Classic Traveller RPG Campaign Chapter 2
This is part 2 of my Classic Traveller RPG campaign. If you missed the first chapter of this adventure where we created the main character you can click here. I'm going to post this campaign in a more narrative structure than my regular miniature war game reports and see how it goes. In this campaign, I will be playing solo and using the Mythic Game Master Emulator as the GM as a test of it.

Dragon Warrior for NES Review
Dragon Warrior (Dragon Quest in the rest of the world) is an RPG released by Churnsoft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1989. It was one of the first RPGs released on the NES and was most likely the first RPG played by many people of that era because the Nintendo Power magazine gave it away with a subscription.

Let's Play Classic Traveller RPG Chapter 1
If you liked this custom Traveller book picture check out The Zhodani Base for lots of cool Traveller stuff!
I've heard about Traveller over the years but I never had a chance to play it. Besides the basic premise of the game setting the one thing that I knew was it's the RPG that can kill you during character creation and that intrigued me. Who does that? The classic Traveller Little Black Books sounded like a lot of fun but I never bought it until now.

Classic Traveller RPG LLB On Sale At Bundle Of Holding
I received an e-mail that a website called Bundle Of Holding was selling the classic Traveller RPG little black books in pdf for only $6.95. I have never heard of Bundle Of Holding but the way it works is they sell a collection of pdfs for a set price. Then there is a bonus collection you can also purchase if you pay over the threshold to level up. As people purchase the set the threshold level increases which make people that buy early get it at a lower price.
Thornguard for Tunnels and Trolls RPG Review
I recently bought Thornguard for Tunnels and Trolls and I thought I would do a little review. It's a solo adventure by The Trollish Delver that takes place in the city of Thornguard. This solo adventure allows you to choose what you want to do making it unique to adventures I've played before.

Tunnels And Trolls Solo RPG Review
Over the years I've played lots of different RPG's from Dungeons and Dragons to Star Wars to a few different Gurps games and much more. I've enjoyed them all and have found that some of the best games were more about the people I was playing with and not the game I was playing. When I think about a pen and paper RPG my mind always thinks group games and not solo games.
