Blog Update! (April 2017)

Baseball is back and the Cubs are currently in 3rd place so I need to play more baseball games to help them. I'm planning to write one baseball review a week and start putting more Strat-O-Matic 1988 season games which I've neglected for awhile now.

Let's Play After The Horsemen Campaign Episode 3 The Raid

This is part 3 of my After The Horsemen Campaign. For part 1 you can click here, and for part 2 click here.

After their adventure last time Larry decided he needed a better gun than the bolt action rifle (BAR) he is using now. The (BAR) has some power but it is too slow and Larry heard of a Browning Automatic Rifle (LMG) from World War 2 that was in a house in the woods. He decided he wanted to get it and Bill said he would tag along as well.

Let's Play After The Horsemen Campaign Episode 1 With Card Decks

I've been thinking about starting a new post-apocalyptic campaign using 2 Hour Wargames rule set After The Horsemen so here we are. If you've never played After The Horsemen you can read my review here. I decided I would play as a lone wolf and created a character named Larry Templeton. The encounter for this game would be wandering with a goal of finding an NPC to interact with or to find a settlement.

After The Horsemen by 2 Hour Wargames Review

After The Horsemen, by 2 Hour Wargames was recently released and I decided to bite the bullet and ordered it. I'm familiar with the Chain Reaction system having played Nuts! and Six Gun Sound so I knew I would be able to get into it easily. I'm a fan of the post-apocalyptic genre having bought both Fallout 3 (Fallout 3 was released on my wedding day so I had to buy it) and Fallout: New Vegas and I've wanted to play a miniatures game in the apocalypse. I had read online that 2HW was coming out with one so I held out.
