In December 1941 the Porpoise is based at the Brisbane docks in Australia. The Navy outfits the Porpoise with war munitions and once the crew and Captain are aboard they ship out for their first War Patrol of WW2.

Silent Victory USS Narwhal War Patrol 1

Hello and welcome to the first War Patrol of the USS Narwhal (SS-167), a brand new submarine that is a new class of submarines based upon a modified Tambor class submarine. We've been playing the War Patrols of the USS Tambor but I've stopped those missions for now since they survived to 1943 and I'm planning on playing each submarine one year at a time so today we begin the USS Narwhal.

Silent Victory: US Submarines in the Pacific, 1941-45 Board Game Introduction

I've recently gotten into naval warfare for the first time in my life, particularly WW2 submarine action. I'm mostly interested in the U-Boat battles in the Atlantic and the US in the Pacific so to satisfy my submarine wargaming cravings I purchased the game U-BOOT. Unfortunately for me, the game came in the mail the day before Hurricane Isaias hit and knocked power out for a week and the game requires a phone or tablet to play and I couldn't spare the power to play the game. Plus it's pretty complicated and I wanted to watch some videos online to see how it plays. So for this reason I went in search of a submarine game I could play if I had no power and I found Silent Victory from GMT Games.

M4 Sherman Medium Tank by Warlord Games Review

When it comes to World War 2 one of the most famous tanks is the Sherman. Designed by the US and used by the allies the Sherman tank was also the second most prolific with a total of just under 50,000 being built. While it was one of the best tanks when they began to see combat, by D-Day there were much more powerful and armored tanks than the Sherman. The Allies were still able to do damage with Shermans due to the amount of Shermans the allies could utilize in battle compared to the Germans who's tanks were superior but of much limited quantity.

German WW2 Stug III AUSF G by Warlord Games Review

I've started to build up some Germans for the western front which currently includes a Tiger 1 tank. Today I add a second piece of armor, a Stug III which is an assault gun that I learned from Wikipedia was the second most produced armored vehicle by the Germans in WW2.
