While I haven't talked about it a lot my favorite movie of all time is the 1987 Live Action Masters Of The Universe movie as anyone who knows me knows. While it wasn't quite what people wanted when it came out, no Battlecat or Orko among other things, I loved it and still do.
Anyway, over the years MattyCollector and now Super7 have released some figures from that -------------------movie. Originally they put out a Blade, Saurod, and Gwildor which were expected since they were released in the original toy line. Finally, at the end of last year, Super7 released Karg, the first action figure released from the movie that never had a figure.
At the 2019 New York Toy Fair Super7 showed off a repainted Karg figure as well as an all-new Dolph Lundgren movie He-Man and both the black version and the gold "God" Skeletor action figures portrayed by Frank Langella. These are figures that I've wanted for over 30 years and I'm very excited about these toys.
I'm hoping that these figures are successful as there are plenty of other unique action figures from this movie that I'd love to get. They need to release a movie version of Beastman to complete the bounty hunters from the movie, we also need Man-At-Arms, Teela, Evil-Lyn, the Sorceress, Skeletor's crack troops, a Warlord soldier, and an Eternian soldier. Those are the figures they have to make but these others are some that have less chance of being produced but would still be welcomed including Kevin, Julie, Charlie, and Lubic.
As soon as these figures are available to pre-order they'll get my money and hopefully, they will come out sooner than later.
