Let's Play Minecraft On Xbox Episode 18

Hello and welcome to Episode 18 of my Let's Play Minecraft on Xbox series. I haven't played Minecraft in a few weeks so I decided to put some free time I had into it and the next thing I know I've spent a considerable amount of time working at the "Great Pyramid" complex. Each block I mine, shovel, or punch gets me one step closer to completion.

100K Achievement Points!

It took me nine years but I've finally hit 100,000 Achievement Points. I know I've mentioned in my Video Games Beaten in 2015 and Video Games Beaten in 2016 posts that I was going to stop worrying about achievement points and focus on just playing the games but this is still cool.

The Army Painter Wargames Hobby Toolkit Review

If there is one thing needed while taking up the hobby of wargaming is tools. Unless you only by miniatures and terrain that is ready to use you're going to need supplies and lots of them which is where the Hobby Tool Kit comes in. Wargamers that are new will get a lot of use out of these tools but the grizzled veteran who needs some new tools can also get a lot of use from this toolkit.

Cubs Lose

I got to see the Cubs yesterday play the Mets in New York. It was the first time I'd seen them play together in 25 years. This was also my first visit to Citi Field which was great for me, too bad the game couldn't have been better.

Tecmo Baseball (NES) Review

Great Cover.
Tecmo Baseball is a game developed by Tecmo and released on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in January of 1989. Tecmo Bowl, Tecmo's football game, on the NES was one of the best sports games for that console and I know I played it a lot as a kid. I honestly don't remember if I ever played this one, I just can't remember. Is it because I had played it and can't recall it now because it wasn't a very good game?

Street Rod: The Card Game Kickstarter

One of my all time favorite car racing games was Street Rod and it's sequel. It's a simple but very fun game to play with classic cars from the 50's and 60's. I remember when I was in school someone had uploaded this game to the schools server and anytime I could I would fire it up and race for pinks.

Small Adobe Building Terrain

As work continues on my Old West project I decided that I'd build some adobe style buildings to help break up all the wood buildings on the table. Eventually, I'd like enough terrain to make a full wooden and adobe town which would allow me to mix and match creating many different cities.

Knuckleduster Miniatures Wyatt Earp and Brothers Painted

As I march on building new old west terrain I also needed some miniatures to populate it. There are plenty of different manufacturers that sell old west minis and I decided to go with Knuckleduster Miniatures for my first batch. I picked them because they are well made but also because the two sets are modeled right off the movie Tombstone which is a movie I've always liked. I ordered up two different sets, the Legends set which has the three Earp brothers in it as well as Doc Holliday, Wild Bill Hickok, and Bat Masterson and a bad guy set.

Ghostbusters Louis Tully 7 Inch Diamond Select Action Figure

We've come to the other figure I bought with Dana Barrett, Louis Tully. This guy is awesome, just look at him. They nailed both Rick Moranis' likeness as well as the look of Louis. Like Dana, I paid 10 bucks for him which is a pretty good deal.

General Store From DeadFall : Building Essentials by World Works Games

I have decided that I want to shoot some 28mm six guns and I need some proper terrain so I went over to World Works Games and purchased their DeadFall Building Essentials set for the low low price of $8.63. I've bought paper terrain from them before including their Mayhem Gas Station
and Mayhem Streets Of Legend so I was safe knowing that I'd be getting my money's worth.

Goodwill Gold Episode 5 Memorial Day

Hello and welcome to Episode 5 of my Goodwill Gold series. Each Goodwill Goal episode will be about cool things that I find and purchase while adventuring through Goodwill. Today's Episode is about all these cool stuff I bought during Goodwill's yearly Memorial Day 50% off everything day. Be prepared for lots of people and long lines and that's no joke. I waited 30 minutes in line at the second Goodwill I went to. But enough of that, let's get to my finds.
