On the mound for the Yankees today is Hiroki Kuroda (19-8). In 29 starts this season Kuroda has thrown 222 innings while surrendering 211 hits, 50 walks, and 156 strikeouts with an ERA of 3.72. The Athletics' starter is Jarrod Parker (14-10) who has started 31 games and thrown 181 innings while giving up 168 hits, 53 walks, and 133 strikeouts with an ERA of 3.68. Both pitchers look evenly matched so today's game should be exciting.
