Goodwill Gold Episode 5 Memorial Day

Hello and welcome to Episode 5 of my Goodwill Gold series. Each Goodwill Goal episode will be about cool things that I find and purchase while adventuring through Goodwill. Today's Episode is about all these cool stuff I bought during Goodwill's yearly Memorial Day 50% off everything day. Be prepared for lots of people and long lines and that's no joke. I waited 30 minutes in line at the second Goodwill I went to. But enough of that, let's get to my finds.

My first Goodwill stop of the day and my favorite held nothing in the way of surprises and this is because I was there the night before looking around. Unfortunately there just wasn't much that I was interested in at either the full price or at 50% off but I wasn't going to go home empty handed. They had a couple of original Xbox games that I didn't have and with 50% off I picked them up.

I also bought a copy of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 that I didn't own and was really cheap,  I'm guessing is because the box was pretty dirty. You can't see the dirt too well in the pictures but it was there.

And I'm off to my second Goodwill of the day. I hadn't been to it for some time so I had no idea of what I might find.

When it comes to big box PC games I usually won't buy them unless they are cheap or something I've played and liked. I found this copy of Nascar 2000 which was three dollars regular and with the 50% off the price was $1.50 so how was I not going to buy it.

Only Paid $1.50.

As far as console games go there was almost nothing in the way for Xbox games. I did find a copy of Madden 25 for the Xbox 360 really cheap and picked it up. I also picked up Fisherman's Bass Club for the PlayStation 2 and it made me laugh so I got it as well.

The last two games I got were both games I like and ones that would be worth some money through trades or outright selling. I got Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 and Star Wars Battlefronts, both on PlayStation 2. Arrogant me didn't check the games before I purchased them and you'd think that waiting in line for a half an hour I could take five minutes to look. Well I didn't and what I got instead was Aerosmith Guitar Hero for the PlayStation 2 inside the Need For Speed box and in the Battlefronts I got nothing. Both games do have the manuals with them so I may be able to salvage my blunders and at least get the money I spent back.

Thank you for reading Episode 4 of Goodwill Gold and I hope to see you next time!
