Hello and welcome to Game 81 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees play game two of a four-game series against the Chicago White Sox at Yankees Stadium.
If you missed the Yankees previous game you can click here for Game 80. In today's contest, the Yankees will have their ace Hiroki Kuroda (9-4) on the mound. In 14 starts this season he's pitched 118 innings while giving up 109 hits, 26 walks, 79 strikeouts with an ERA of 3.29. The White Sox have Chris Sale (9-1) on the mound who has started 13 games this season and has pitched 101 innings while giving up 76 hits, 23 walks, 102 strikeouts with an ERA of 2.32. Looks to be a good matchup today, I'd give the edge to Sale but with the Yankees' bats you can never count them out.
