Hello and welcome to Game 80 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees begin a four-game series against the AL Central 1st place team the Chicago White Sox at Yankees Stadium.

Pettitte has started four games this season and has pitched 47 innings while allowing 26 hits, 12 walks, 50 strikeouts for an ERA of 1.14 for the season. The White Sox have Gavin Floyd (9-4) on the mound who has started 15 games this season and has pitched 92 innings while allowing 90 hits, 28 walks, 86 strikeouts for an ERA of 3.91 on the season. Today's game looks to be a great matchup.
