Hello and welcome to Game 57 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees play game two of a three-game series against the Tigers in Detroit. So far this season the Yankees are 3-1 against the Tigers.

Pettitte this season has given up 17 hits, walked 8, and struck out 22 batters with an ERA of 2.95 this season. For the Tigers, they have Drew Smyly (0-2) starting. This season Smyly is having a bad year giving up 21 hits, walking 7, and striking out 15 for an ERA of 6.08.
