Over at Dave Graffam Models there are four free pieces of terrain that you can download for free and build to help sway you to purchase some of their other models. I previous built the Observatory and now I've just finished their Coach House.
I have to say this was the easiest and probably the best looking piece of terrain that I've built. The instructions were very easy to understand and I know it's not a complicated piece but never the less it was very easy making even the worst paper modeler think that they have talent.
There are a number of uses that I could use the Coach House for including fantasy, Lord of the Rings, World War One and Two and much more. Looking at the picture up top you can scale the size of the house from 15 up to 30mm which is the sweet spot for war gaming. You can also print different styles to the house giving up lots of different options. The only thing I did differently from the rules was to glue the paper terrain to some foam core to give it extra stability. The only thing holding it back is that it has no interior but for free I'm not complaining.
Overall this is another easy to build but a great looking piece of terrain and I'm sure I'll get lots of use out of it. If you like what you see or are just curious head over to the Dave Graffam Models website. I give this coach house an 6 out of 10.
