Well, we've made it through the 2019 holiday season and I have to say that I did pretty good for Christmas. For being an adult male with a teenage child I was able to get mostly all toys, video games, or books about toys and video games. One nice thing this year is that my daughter is old enough to get me something that she'd know I'd like and this is what she picked out for me. The question is.... how did she do?

Hughes, in 69 innings, has given up 76 hits, 13 walks, and 44 strikeouts for an ERA of 4.67. For the Tigers, Rick Porcello (4-4) gets the start. Pettitte this season has given up 17 hits, walked 8, and struck out 22 batters with an ERA of 2.95 this season. For the Tigers, they have Drew Smyly (0-2) starting. This season Smyly is having a bad year giving up 21 hits, walking 7, and striking out 15 for an ERA of 6.08.

Games Beaten in 2019

Well, 2019 turned into a disappointment for me personally, professionally, financially, medically, pretty much all of the ways. Everything I had planned for the year never happened, I played no tabletop games except Strat-O-Matic, and I didn't play nearly as many video games as I wanted. I did purchase some new retro games including games for the Sega CD and NES but never the less I never played any of them. I bought Red Dead Redemption 2 when it came out at the end of 2018 and I still haven't played it. I have hundreds of games that I haven't played for one reason or another and like I've said before I'm hoping to change that for 2020.
