Masters Of The Universe Classics Commander Karg by Super7 Action Figure Review

After nearly a year of waiting, I finally received my "William Stout" Masters Of The Universe Classics Movie figures. I put the William Stout in quotes because when they were originally revealed they were called the William Stout Collection but these figures only say "Classics Collection" on the sides of the packaging.

I'm starting with Karg because he's technically the only repaint figure, God Skeletor is a repaint but he is still new and not a previously released figure like Karg. Like I always say, how does this movie variant of Karg compare to the original release?

Masters Of The Universe Classics Blade Review

When the Masters Of The Universe Classics line launched in 2008 one of the big things I wanted was new figures from the Masters Of The Universe The Motion Picture, and as I type this any day that dream will finally come true. I was also looking for Mattel to release new MOTUC versions of the movie characters that were released in 1987. I've already reviewed Gwildor and Saurod, as well as Karg who is the first new movie toy, but I've left Blade for last.

Hero Forge is a company that allows you to make custom miniatures buy using their software and then have them 3D print you the miniature. They currently have a Kickstarter up, which ends on February 13 at 8:00 PM PST and they have destroyed their goal of $40,000, with three days left as of this writing they have made $2,595,XXX which I would have to call a successful Kickstarter.

TMNT Leonardo NECA 7 Inch Classic Cartoon Action Figure Review

You'd think with all the pizza they eat the turtles would be horrible ninjas.
Today I have a review of Leonardo from the Donatello Leonardo two-pack from NECA's "7 Inch" Classic Cartoon TMNT action figure line. I was a big fan of Donatello from this pack so the question is... how is Leo?

Strat-O-Matic 2012 New York Yankees Replay Game 60

Hello and welcome to Game 60 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees play game two against their division rivals the Tampa Bay Rays.

If you missed the previous game you can click here for Game 59. For today's game, the Yankees have Hiroki Kuroda (5-4) starting. In 10 starts this season, Kuroda has pitched 82 innings, given up 84 hits, 22 walks, struck out 57 for an ERA of 3.73. The Rays have James Shields (5-4) on the mound today. In 13 starts, Shields has pitched 76 innings and has allowed 75 hits, walked 17, and struck out 73 for an ERA of 3.54. Today's game looks to be a good one between two evenly matched pitchers between teams fighting for first place.

Detective Comics 27 Review

Without a doubt Action Comics 1 is the most important, and expensive, comic book to ever come out. Not only did it invent the Superhero but it also launched The Golden Age of Comics and is also the comic book debut of Superman, Clark Kent, and Lois Lane. After Action Comics 1, the second most important, and again second most expensive comics book, is Detective Comics 27. Issue 27, for those who don't know, is the comic book where The Batman debuts. Like I mentioned in my Review Of Action Comics 1, The "Bat-man" in this story is very different from the hero we know now.

Batman, or The "Bat-man", was created in 1939 by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. These creators have been dead for many years now and the contract signed by Kane to bring Batman into Detective Comics has painted a poor picture of Bob Kane over the preceding years. I don't want to get into too much of it here but if you're interested in the history of the creation of Batman you should watch the documentary Batman and Bill which can currently be seen on Hulu. Now I do not have the millions to afford my own copy of Detective Comics 27 so I'll be reading it on the DC Universe app.
