Hello and welcome to Game 150 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees are in New York to play game two of a three-game series against their division rival the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees starter for today is Ivan Nova (2-9). As the Yankee season nears the end I'm running out of starting pitchers to use so I'm going with Ivan Nova. He has been an absolute disaster for me this year so I'm hoping for a good outing. Nova has started 15 games this season and in 102 innings pitched he's allowed 145 hits, 35 walks, 99 strikeouts, and has an ERA of 6.51. The Rays have Jeremy Hellickson (9-9) starting today. In 28 starts this season Hellickson has pitched 156 innings and given up 146 hits, 50 walks, and 107 strikeouts for an ERA of 3.58.
