Chicago Cubs Season Ends

The Chicago Cubs season ended today after losing the Wild Card game against the Colorado Rockies. If you don't count the fact that they lost it was a pretty good/tense game but the Cubs just couldn't get it done. The game went to the 13th inning and took 5 hours to play which is a new record for a Wild Card game.



After having one day off within the last 40+ games they looked like they just ran out of gas. The month of September saw them go from leading their division by 5 games to losing it to the Brewers at the end of the season. It was almost as bad as when they lost their division in 1969 but not quite. Anyway, there's always next season.
