Games Beaten In 2018

Here we go with my fourth annual Games Beaten list for 2018. To compare to how I did years past you can click here for 2017, 2016, 2015. For 2017 I finished 26 games which was my second best year. Unfortunately I only finished 14 games in 2018 which is my worst showing so far. Of course you have to take into consideration that 2018 was the worst year I've lived yet and just didn't have as much time to play as I have in years past.





When you look over the list you'll see it's mostly Xbox One and Xbox 360 games and the 360 games were all backwards compatible and played on my Xbox One. Again it was probably like this because playing games on my Xbox One was easier than on older systems.

I finished 8 Xbox One games, 3 Xbox 360 games, 1 PC game, 1 SNES game, and 1 NES game. I didn't finish one Sega CD game which makes me sad as it's favorite childhood system. I did buy some new games for it and played them a bit but I didn't sit down and complete one.

For 2019 I definitely want to beat more games particularly retro games on the Sega CD and NES. I also want to dig out my Commodore 64 as I haven't played that in years. As far as buying new (old) consoles there are a few that I'd like to get including a Turbografx 16 or one of its many versions, a Sega Saturn, a 3DO or a Phillips CDi, or a SNES. Of course I'd like to get them all but I don't have deep pockets like Oysters Rockefeller so we'll see how that goes.
