Strat-O-Matic 2012 New York Yankees Replay Game 119


Hello and welcome to Game 119 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees head to New York to play a four-game series against the Texas Rangers. The Yankees currently have a record of (65-53) which is good for first place in the American League Eastern League and 4.5 games ahead of Baltimore. The Rangers record is (69-44) which puts them in second place, half a game behind the Athletics.

In 23 starts this season Kuroda has thrown 186 innings while giving up 173 hits, walking 42, striking out 134 for an ERA of 3.48. His Ranger counterpart today is Roy Oswalt (2-5) who has started in 10 games for the Rangers while throwing 50 innings and surrendering 72 hits, walking 12, striking out 42 for an ERA of 6.30. Today looks like a great day for baseball.
