I've been wanting to move some Star Trek ships around a table in a mock battle, you may even call it a wargame. My problem is that I have all the Star Trek counters I'll ever need from the assorted Federation Commander sets I've bought over the years and while using counters is just fine I like to play with a little more pizzazz, I like to play with miniatures.

For their next series, the Yankees come home to Yankee Stadium to take on the West Coast Los Angeles Angels. The Angels are currently in 3rd place with a record of (50-38).

The Angels have Jered Wever (6-5) who in 14 starts this season has pitched 101 innings while giving up 89 hits, 24 walks, 65 hits for an ERA of 3.40 this season.

Up next in Wave 1 of Mega Construx Pro Builders line of toys from the Masters of the Universe line is Prince Adam. Prince Adam, the alter ego of He-Man, is the son and heir of King Randor and Queen Marlena. It is hard to find information out on these today but I believe Prince Adam was first released in Wave 1 of the Pro Builders line and not originally released in a wave of the Mega Construx Heroes original line of toys.

It looks like the Yankees should have a good shot at the win today and taking the series from the Red Sox.

As I've mentioned in numerous posts (Captain Terrell, Regula One, Reliant Crew, Enterprise Crew)  that I always liked and coveted the FASA Star Trek movie starship miniatures but what fun are wargaming miniatures without a wargame to play with them. I finally decided I needed to pick up a copy of this game so I did.

Star Trek II The Wrath Of Khan Captain Terrell 25mm Miniature by Fasa

I've always loved the film Star Trek 2 The Wrath Of Khan and always was intrigued by the miniature ships that were released by Fasa as part of this line. I didn't know at the time that there was also a pen and paper RPG that also had miniatures made for the movie. I've been collecting these guys over the years, they aren't too expensive (the people, not the ships) but some can be hard to find including Captain Terrell.
