Masters Of The Universe Classics Movie Action Figures Reveal by Super7

While I haven't talked about it a lot my favorite movie of all time is the 1987 Live Action Masters Of The Universe movie as anyone who knows me knows. While it wasn't quite what people wanted when it came out, no Battlecat or Orko among other things, I loved it and still do.

Anyway, over the years MattyCollector and now Super7 have released some figures from that -------------------movie. Originally they put out a Blade, Saurod, and Gwildor which were expected since they were released in the original toy line. Finally, at the end of last year, Super7 released Karg, the first action figure released from the movie that never had a figure.

TMNT Raphael NECA 7 Inch 1990 Movie Action Figure

I previously purchased and review the 1/4 scale NECA Donatello action figure from the 1990 movie. I love the figure but I haven't purchased the others for two reasons. First is the price, over 100 dollars for one figure is a high price. I'm not saying that these figures aren't worth that price, in my opinion, they are, it's just that I can buy many action figures for the price of one of these figures. The second is the size as these 1/4 figures are big. I may eventually buy the rest of the 1/4 scale figures but for today we are looking at the 7 inch Raphael action figure.

Federation Commander Klingon Border Review

When Federation Commander was released by Amarillo Design Bureau it was designed as a way for fans to get their Star Fleet Battles fix without spending days and weeks playing and it turned out to be a success. I'm a big fan of Federation Commander and I've been able to get many of my friends to give it a try despite either fear of learning Star Fleet Battles or of not being a fan of Star Trek in general. I have to say after more than a decade that it's been a hit with everyone that I've played it with.

Commando (NES) Review

Commando is a vertical run and gun game by Capcom that was released in 1985 for the arcade. It has been ported to many different devices over the years including the Nintendo Entertainment System which is the version I played. Despite having the same name as the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie this isn't based upon that movie but if you squint your eyes while playing it you'd nearly be fooled. To keep the mood going all you have to do is yell "Get to the chopper" every time you see a helicopter.

Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan FASA Regula One Box Review

I always keep an eye on Ebay for any of the Fasa Star Trek miniatures and I the Regula One box set for pretty cheap. This box set was complete except for the Regula One space station model. I still want the station and will buy it at some point but I couldn't let this set go buy and won it and with shipping I paid less than 10 dollars for it.

Games Beaten In 2018

Here we go with my fourth annual Games Beaten list for 2018. To compare to how I did years past you can click here for 2017, 2016, 2015. For 2017 I finished 26 games which was my second best year. Unfortunately I only finished 14 games in 2018 which is my worst showing so far. Of course you have to take into consideration that 2018 was the worst year I've lived yet and just didn't have as much time to play as I have in years past.
