Terry Leach relieved him in the 3th and went 2 innings giving up 4 hits, striking out 1 and allowing 2 Earned Runs for an ERA of 9.00. Edwin Nunez pitched 2/3 innings in the 6th giving up 3 hits and 1 Earned Run for an ERA of 13.50. Rick Aguilera pitched the last 2 innings giving up only 1 hit and walking 2.
The bats were pretty quiet for the Mets today with Lenny Dykstra driving in the Mets only run, he was 1 for 4. Keith Hernandez went 2 for 4 with a double.
