SUMMARY:

This game turned out to be a pitchers duel. The real game had the Giants win 3-0 so with a score of 1-0 Giants my Strat game was pretty close to the real thing. The Tigers pitchers in the real game 3 gave up 7 hits, 1 walk, 12 strikeouts, 0 home runs with an ERA of 2,00. In Strat, the Tigers pitchers gave up 5 hits, 1 walk, 7 strikeouts, 0 home runs with an ERA of 1.00. The pitchers in both games were pretty close, 2 more hits in the real game, walks were identical, the real pitchers were able to strike out 5 more batters with an ERA difference of only 1.00.

The Giants pitchers in the real game gave up 5 hits, 5 walks, 7 strikeouts, 0 home runs with an ERA of 0.00. In Strat, the Giants gave up 6 hits, 3 walks, 7 strikeouts, 0 home runs with an ERA of 0.00. These stats are even closer to the real game. In Strat, the Giants gave up 1 more hit with 2 fewer walks and the same strikeouts, home runs and ERA. The Giants now lead my Strat replay 2-1, in real life, the Giants lead 3-0 so the Giants still lead in my replay.

Tune in next week for game 4 of my 2012 World Series Strat-O-Matic replay.
