Hello and welcome to Game 108 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees play game three of a three-game series against their division rivals the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium.
If you missed the Yankees previous game you can click here for Game 107. On the mound today for the Yankees is Boone Logan (4-1). Logan has started in three games this season and has thrown 51 innings while giving up 40 hits, 18 walks, 50 strikeouts for an ERA of 3.86. His counterpart for the Orioles is Jason Hammel (6-8) who in 17 starts this season has thrown 92 innings while surrendering 90 hits, 39 walks, 92 strikeouts for an ERA of 4.41. After yesterday's win, the Yankees have won the series so the Orioles are looking for a win today to avoid the dreaded sweep.
