Hello and welcome to Game 111 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees play the final game of a three-game series against the AL West Coast team the Seattle Mariners. The Yankees have won the first two-game so they've already won the series so it's the hopes of Seattle to win today to avoid a sweep.

Kuroda has started in 21 games this season and has thrown 172 innings while allowing 162 hits, 40 walks, 126 strikeouts for an ERA of 3.66. The Mariners are sending King Felix Hernandez (4-12) out today who has started 27 games this season and thrown 165 innings while giving up 166 hits, 55 walks, 158 strikeouts for an ERA of 4.04. Today's game is looking to be a great one.
