Hello and welcome to Game 102 of my 2012 Strat-O-Matic New York Yankees season replay. Today the Yankees are in Seattle to play the final game of a three-game series against the Mariners. The Yankees have won the last two games so they can't lose the series and with a win, they can complete a sweep of the Mariners.

On the mound today for the Yankees is Derek Lowe (4-7) who has started 16 games this season and has thrown 92 innings while giving up 121 hits, 45 walks, 44 strikeouts for an ERA of 5.85. For the Mariners, Kevin Millwood gets the start. In 19 starts this season Millwood has thrown 95 innings while allowing 112 hits, 35 walks, 44 strikeouts for an ERA of 5.13.
