SUMMARY:

Today's game is the second in a row to go to 13 innings. It appears that both teams are pretty evenly matched. Surprisingly the real life Game 3 ended with Mark McGwire hitting a walk off home run. In my game he did it in the 13th inning but it is the same outcome. Game one came down to the same play in both games with Kirk Gibson winning the real game with a home run and in Strat he made the last out. It just goes to show you how Strat-O-Matic can be pretty realistic, it could also be dumb luck! In the 1988 World Series the Dodgers lead 2-1 and in Strat the Athletics lead 2-1 so it is still any ones game. Next week the Dodgers play Game 4 in Oakland.

Today's Player Of The Game is Terry Steinbach who went 3 for 4 with a walk and a double.
