Strat-O-Matic 1988 Replay Mets Games 15-17


The Mets travel to St. Louis to play the Cardinals for their second match up this season.

The Mets take game 2 of the series with a 2 run shutout.

Kevin McReynolds went 2 for 5 with a solo home run. Gary Carter drove in a run going 2 for 4.

Larry McWilliams earned a complete game loss for the Cardinals. He gave up 8 hits, 7 Ks, 4 BBs and 2 Earned Runs for an ERA of 2.00.

Curt Ford, Bob Horner and Willie McGee each hit singles for the Cardinals.
